The Ladyjacks basketball team beat Southeast Missouri State 83-59 on Nov. 15. The team now holds an overall record of 3-0. 

Senior guard #13 Stephanie Visscher had a career breaking night earning her thousandth career point shot. She led the point count with 20 shots scored with nine of those points coming from three pointers. Visscher also got herself 13 rebounds.  

Sophomore forward #11 Avery Brittingham totaled up 13 points as well as seven rebounds. Junior guard #22 Zya Nugent came up close behind Brittigham with 11 points and two rebounds. 

Southeast Missouri State’s leading scorer was senior guard #13 Deanay Watson with 14 points and five rebounds. Redshirt freshman guard #23 Shymaria Christopher earned a total of 11 points along with four rebounds. Senior guard #10 Taelour Pruitt scored 11 points as well as four rebounds. 

The next game for the Ladyjacks will be against Texas A&M University at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 in College Station. The Ladyjacks have lost all four previous matches against Texas A&M. The last game played against Texas A&M on Nov. 20, 2016 was loss for the Ladyjacks of 48-63. 

The game will be streamed live on SEC+.
