The Nacogdoches City Commission voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt an ordinance amending an article of the City of Nacogdoches Code of Ordinances to prohibit smoking in public places and places of employment.

SFA Cheerleaders win 2008 national championship
The SFA Cheerleaders brought home their sixth consecutive national championship from the NCA National Cheerleading competition in Daytona Beach, Fla., last week.
