Ms. Stone Fort Pageant returns
The SFA Traditions Council is bringing back the Ms. Stone Fort Beauty pageant at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, in the movie theatre on the second floor of the student center.
The pageant is a revival of an old SFA tradition with a modern twist, where each organization chooses a member and elects them as a Stone Fort Beauty.…

Presidential debate, voter registration topics at Griffith
Students were able to gather to watch Friday's national political debate as well as register to vote at a debate party hosted by Griffith Hall.

Student questions iPod volumes
Rudy Becerra, SGA senator and Houston senior, had a question for students about listening to music devices in the recreation center. In a mySFA announcement, Becerra questioned the advisability of working out while listening to music so loud the person cannot hear what is going on around him.…

Night photography workshop and exhibit set
The SFA School of Fine Arts and School of Art will open an exhibit featuring the photography of international photographer Lynn Saville at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Cole Art Center.
Saville will attend to talk about her photography and to give a photography workshop afterward.…
