SFA Student Life and the Nacogdoches County United Way have teamed up to promote what they hope will be the largest single day volunteer event in the history of Nacogdoches. The students from the Multicultural Center (MCC) have already set plans into motion to present the Tunnel of Oppression. Dominique Burkes, president of the Lumberjack Cultural Association and Houston sophomore, said "The tunnel is an interactive museum. Various Republican supporters came out Thursday night to listen to Rev. Stephen E. Broden and Dr. Rick Scarborough, both from Dallas, speak out about voting. Sigma Chi to host Fight Night

On Saturday, Nov. 15, Sigma Chi fraternity will host a fundraiser to restart its Fight Night events and to help raise money for the Nacogdoches Boys and Girls Club. The event will consist of one representative from each major campus organization.
