Student affected by mistreated children
In June, four people from the Baptist Student Ministry went to northern India to help impoverished children, and one of them was so affected by his experience, he decided to make a documentary about the children's plight and how to help them.
Zach Wood, Kingwood senior, went with three others to Dehli, Varanassi, Kolkata and Patna through a mission organization called Go Now Missions, and he feels like everyone should know how terrible the living situation is for the millions of children who live there.…

Dr. Jackson urges graduates to take part in SFA's extensive history
The December commencement speaker will be University Historian, Dr. Jere Jackson, who wants students to know that history doesn't start 75 miles away from home; it's all around us.

The Crime Log
On 11-18-2008 an officer observed a suspicious subject on East College Street having trouble walking. The officer made contact with the subject and discovered the subject to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident.…
