Nine Flags festival to bring holiday cheer to Nacogdoches
The 13th anual Nine Flags festival is set to begin this Saturday in downtown Nacogdoches.
Nine different flags have flown over Nacogodoches, and this year's festival is paying tribute to the Texas flag. Visitors from all over the state travel to Nacogdoches for this historic event, and SFA students are encouraged to attend.…

Animal cloning, genetic modification to be next topics of Burr Lecture held next week
Dr. Charles R. Long, of Texas A&M, will deliver the 27th annual J.H. Burr Jr. Lecture at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the Miller Science Building, Room 137. SFA began presenting the lecture in 1982 in honor of a past professor, J.H. Burr Jr.
This will be the first year that SFA has welcomed Long as a presenter.…

SFA debate to travel out of state next weekend
Friday, the SFA debate team traveled to Shreveport to compete in the annual Red River Classic and for the second tournament in a row took first place in the professional division.

Domestic abuse will take a punch Thursday night thanks to a new organization's fashion show, which combines extravagant hair and makeup with a strong message.

Sigma Chi hosts next Fight NightProceeds go toward Boys and Girls Club
Sigma Chi Fight Night returns Nov. 14 to the Nacogdoches Expo Center for a night filled with amateur boxing that will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Deep East Texas.

Tour de Nac 'fantastic, family-oriented event,' proceeds benefit Nine Flags Festival
The third annual Tour de Nac is set to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009. The bike ride will include a 7.8 mile (new this year) route, 28.8 mile route and 53.3 mile route that will begin and end in historic downtown Nacogdoches.

Recreation Center increasing awareness of World Diabetes Day
Diabetes continues to affect many people worldwide, which is why the Campus Rec is reaching out to inform students about the disease.
