Annual Smoke-Out event to help SFA students 'kick the habit'

The Campus Recreation Department is hosting a Great American Smoke-Out from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday Nov. 20 in the Recreation Center Lobby. Common mammogram self-exams questionable

Women in their 40s should stop routinely having annual mammograms and older women should cut back to one scheduled exam every other year, an influential federal task force has concluded, challenging the use of one of the most common medical tests. In its first reevaluation of breast cancer screening since 2002, the panel that sets government policy on prevention recommended the radical change, citing evidence that the potential harm to women having annual exams beginning at age 40 outweighs the benefits.… Post the First Comment

The Crime Log

On 11-17-2009 an officer was dispatched to the Baker Pattillo Student Center in reference to a subject asleep in the common area. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the subject who was issued a criminal trespass warning from SFA's campus. There is one suspect.… Post the First Comment
