Executing a play that ranked No. 9 in SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays and earning a spot on the All-Southland Sports Tournament Team was the perfect end to conference tournament play for SFA middle blocker Makenzee Hanna before the Ladyjacks were knocked out of the first round of the NCAA volleyball tournament by University of Texas at Austin last week.

Friday marked the 55thanniversary of the British sci-fi show “Doctor Who.” Created in 1963, the series follows an alien known only as the Doctor as they traverse time and space with their companions. Episodes take place in the future, past and present; on Earth, in space and on alien planets; they’re sometimes scary, sometimes silly and occasionally, incredibly moving.
