SFA and Nacogdoches High School students presented information about Barrio Writers to the National Council of Teachers of English on Nov. 17 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

The SFA Wildlife Society is raising awareness for a bipartisan bill called the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, or House Resolution 4647, after attending a presentation by a member of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

For the upcoming election, college students are being encouraged to exercise their rights by registering to vote and voting. The deadline to register is Tuesday, and Election Day is Nov. 6.
