SFA Lumberjack fans are invited to join the football staff for a National Signing Day Luncheon beginning at noon Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the SFA Athletics Fieldhouse. National Signing Day is the first official day that high school athletes can sign a letter of intent with the college of their choice.
The cost of the meal is $10, and fans will receive a breakdown of the 2013 signing class from SFA head coach J.C. Harper. In addition, fans will be able to see a highlight video of each of the Jacks’ signees.
Over the past several years, SFA has had numerous signees go on to receive attention by the NFL. Among those Jacks who have received professional contracts are Tim Knicky, Kenneth Charles, and NFL draftees Dominique Edison and Jabara Williams. Josh Aubrey, Willie Jefferson and Cordell Roberson are just a few names that have received attention from NFL scouts following the 2012 season.
