What I love about SFA...

“I love that I am forever a Lumberjack. I am part of this really cool club or group of individuals who share this common experience of attending SFA. This means that when I see someone with an SFA shirt on or the school letters on their car, I already share something with this person who, for all intensive purposes, is a stranger. Having never met this person, I know that this fellow Jack hates Sam Houston and their colors orange and blue, knows who Surfin’ Steve is, and that the LMB is the “Boldest Sound From The Oldest Town.” They know how to throw up an Axe and that you don’t go in the Stone Fort as an undergrad if you want to graduate. I love SFA because this selective group isn’t for everybody, but for those who choose to reside in the Piney Woods for 4+ years, they are the lucky few who know why God loves the Lumberjacks.”
