The Stephen F. Austin State baseball season starts Feb. 17 at home when the Lumberjacks will square off with the Kansas State Wildcats for the first game of a four-game series.Â
SFA finished the 2022 season with a15-36 record (8-22 in conference play) and will look to have better luck this year. Kansas State leads the all-time head-to-head matchup series two games to one over SFA, with their last meeting being back in 2016.Â
Some games to mark on your calendar this year are April 4 when the Lumberjacks head to Waco to play the Baylor Bears, April 28-30 when the Sam Houston Bearkats come to town and May 18-20for the final series of the season against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Â
The first pitch for the season opener is Feb. 17 at 6:30 pm at Jaycees field in Nacogdoches.Â
